I do not think you need to take english in As, iGCSE/O level is sufficient,,,
for As you need  biology and chemisty and another 2 subjects

I do not know much about Studing in Australia.. Can anyone tell us about education overthere (i.e. how are the schools and the people and climate )

I want to do medicine myself. I am still pondering where to go! (Hence, I haven't applied anywhere yet! :o) I also am interested in scholarships, etc as I don't have a stash of cash for university life; lol.

and @missbeautiful789? You HAAVVE to take AS English Literature to get into medicine. Actually, you can't get into ANY university without AS English, so I'm sorry to say that IGCSE english will not be sufficient enough to enter any university ><
altho i am talking about only the southern hemisphere, so i'm not sure what other places are like.. wot i said is true with all australian/newzealand schools.. :P in which case, where are you from?
