Medicine
dlehddud:
Hey guys
just wondered whether I was making the right decision for uni..
I'm doing IGCSE's right now and i'm hoping to get A* for all of them except English (my prelim marks were A* for all Chem, Bio, Physi, AS Maths but A for english XP)
and i'm going to do the same subjects for A level, but only do english to AS
is med the right choice? Cos I'm also thinking of Dentristry XP
oh and i'm thinking of uni in australia (esp Melbourne and Queensland)
nits94:
u dont really need physics 4 medicine...n as fas as I know we're only allowed to take 3 a level subs and 1 as level right?? so basically chem is really imp for med..more than bio also...but its advisable 2 take bio as well..eng is kind of cumpolsory and as level eng is fine.. :)
Q80BOY:
most universities require A level Biology and Chemistry at grades AA and a B in any other subject (Math/Physics/ICT etc.)
im sure thats what the UK unis want .. austraila .. i dunno .. check their website :)
Zain-Xa:
yeah bio n chem is compulsory everywhere ..
physics or maths in some places :\
english is fine if u wanna take it :D but u dnt need it :)
all the best :D
