1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 if no digit can be used more than once?

it said 4*(5*4*3)

explain why??

the first number has to be one of 3,4,5,6
5 choices for the 2nd number
4 choices for the 3rd
and 3 choices for the 4th
hence4*5*4*3
as soon as the first number is picked you only a have a coice of 5 etc

only 4 for 1st thing
then 5 for 2nd
4 for 3rd
and 3 for 4th!!!
