lead copper mg...how come 3 :S the 1st part which was adding HCL proved it was lead!no other element gives a ppt with HCL

the batch in which i ws...nly 2 studnt got Pb2+
we all got no ppt with HCL...so we got Al3+ presnt
so which is the true ans???
