nd i found stats harder than pure especially that first qustion on mean and SD
i think i got it wrong cos some friends said that they used the bell curve for norm dist which i think is correct..

Are you sure that is the weightings for maths? I thought it was 50/50 for pure and stats. Anyway yeah i think for that first question in order to find the s.d you have to use a normal distribution curve, because they tell you the LQ value and we know that anything lower than LQ has the probability of 25% so you can draw and diagram to represent this and then you should be able to figure it out using normal distribution.
