Well i do Further Maths for CIE
but not privately, as in a whole 1 and a half year course.
@astarmaths: Its not that difficult :D
But yea, i would not recommend studying it privately, or over a short period of time. Cos honestly, it can take u sometimes 1 hour to just figure out a question. Unless u have a tutor or something, that would help.
and By the way: If you really want to do Further Maths, its actually recommended for the people who can get really high scores for the Maths A Level. So yea, if youre not super good in that, I would not risk doing Further Maths

Yah, I looked at the syllabus, the courseload isn't as huge as I thought it would be. I reckon if I give it time everyday it's quite possible. Yah I have a tutor, he did further maths in his a levels and got brilliant marks. So I think it's quite possible. Just need to practise a hell lot.
