copper is definitely not ferrous, the ONLY ferrous material s are COBALT, NICKEL, IRON dat is ALL
therefore, copper is not attracted to an electromagnet.
for question 2, the answer was 600V dc
for question 3, i think ur talkin about the "small dc to large dc" question
the answer is relay

I have some questions about physics paper 1....
There was one question that said something like "Why passangers are not allowed to stand up in the upper level of a double-decker bus?
The options where:
1)Becasue it makes the bus unstable
2)Becasue it makes the bus gain kinetic energy
3)It increases the speed of the bus
4)It lowers the center of mass.
Then the one about cathode rays: There was a diagram where a beam of cathode rays passed by two parallel magnetised plates (the plates where like this = and the beam passed through the middle). The bottom palte was positive, and the one on top was negative. They asked, what direction takes the beam when it passes through it:
1)downwards
2)upwards
3)Into the page
4)Out the page

2)i think the upper plate was positive....well it doesn't matter...if it was the upper one..then it went upwards...otherwise downwards...as in towards the positive plate..

dude!! the lower plate was positiveeee..and it does matter..because that can bring u to 39!
