ok guys.. in accounts... im doing the May/June 2005 Paper 2 ... and im stuck so sickly on Q4b)
the mark scheme has 3600 Profit & Loss on the credit side.. but i really dont get why this is there...
any help would be appreciated.

hey..once u record all the entries by cheque on the debit side...it gives u a total of $4400....and on the credit side u have $3600 for p/l because its already specified in the question that "The amount payable is $900 quarterly in advance"..therefore the rent is paid 4(quater) times during the year which comes upto $3600 (4x$900)!!and to balance it u have $800 as balance c/d!
