specific heat capacity =
![\frac{energy absorbed}{mass * temp. change}](https://studentforums.biz/cgi-bin/mimetex.cgi?\frac{energy absorbed}{mass * temp. change})
specifc latent heat =
the expirmental changes can be
-repeat for average and accuracy
-insulate
-switch of power source when recording readings to prevent heating of the wire and change in resistance
-use data logging for accurate time intervals
-transfer hot objects into beakers of water more quickly to prevent heat loss
-check for zero error- (vernier calliper & screq gauge)
-read measurements perpendicularly to scale-avoid parallax
-use a lid (to avoid heat loss)
if i get more i'll add them here
