ok from what I did

2tan2xcosx=3

2tan2x=2sin2x/ 2cos2x

substituting u get
2sin2x/ 2cos2x  X cosx =3
2sin2x/2cosx=3
sin2x/cosx=3
 
sin2x=1-cos2x

1-cos2x/cosx=3
1-cos2x=3cosx
3cosx+cos2x-1=0
