hey have a prob in math for these type of sums....plz help..

Grade                           1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Number of students        1 2 4 7 4 8 2

Students are chosen at random, one by one, from the original 28, until the student
chosen has a grade 5.
Calculate the probability that this is the third student chosen

Physics quest...

When dey say start temperature scale on Y axis at 40o...Do u start at origin or point above dat??
And wen dey say draw a circuit diagram to represent a voltmeter connected across 3 lamps how shld d dig look...Just wanted to confirm d answer for this...

chosen has a grade 5.
Calculate the probability that this is the third student chosen

the probability that the 1st student does not have a grade 5 is -> 28/28 - 4-28 = 24/28

the probability that the second student does not have a grade 5 is --> 27/27 - 4/27 = 23/27

the probability that the third student HAS a grade 5 is -> 4/26

multiply them

u put that "cracked sin curve" ka symbol between the origin and the next point (all on Y axis) and then put the point above that as 400

something like the attached one

PS : I'm not sure on this one.

and yea...the lamps are connected in parallel or series?
