thanks nid404 , that was helpfull , but i wanted to whether it is the same syllabus with no changes , it has been changed from IT > ICT , so is there any changes , ? and,
can u tell me what does each paper hold , like  , paper 1 is theory , paper 2 is practical , but which applicaitons , excel or word ?? and what about paper 3 ? .. thanks alot , u're really helpfull !

nid404:
well yeah....the IT paper is now referred to as ICT

check http://www.cie.org.uk/qualifications/academic/middlesec/igcse/subject?assdef_id=969

if you check for syllabus of IT...you won't get any from now...cuz it's not called it anymore....try going to subjects and click on Information technology....it will show no syllabus

so for igcse ict you have
Paper 1-theory
Paper2-practicals(word and access...with the very first mailing part)
paper 3-practicals(ms frontpage and excel)

loolie:
Not any more ... u could be asked for any package at any paper 2 or 3
