I have a TATA car...pretty old it is though
it's sad in a way that GM motors is finally bankrupt
TATA group of companies is owned by Ratan Tata, son of Jamshedji Tata(a Parsi..so originally not from India...rich chaps from the very beginning..very helpful to the British during their reign in India...grew richer and richer)....They not only have TATA motors but also mobile services and Broadband services and TATA power( India's largest private power utility)
