then i substituted in orig.. eqn for VOl

r=10 for the sphere butthe radius of the cynder is 2rsinx =2*10*1/sqrt5=8.94 and height is 2rcosx=20*2/sqrt5=17.9 so volume=3.14*8.95^2*17.9=4489

The formula for the volume is wrong. I should have included a factor 8 cos I only had half the height and half the volume. Also there are 2 x's in the diagram but there should only be one, at the edge of the circle.

yes i can understand but the actual given answer is 2420.....
