Basically time moves horizintally along the cro screen.
If a voltage is 2V the you have a horizontal line (2 squares up from the middle say)
If a voltage is -1V the you have a horizontal line (1 square down from the middle say)
But if the voltage varies bwteen 2 and -1 then as time moves horizontally the voltage moves down and you get a diagonal line going down. Think like this always.

good emitters - dull and dark - heat up rapidly
bad emitters- shiny - heat up quickly
and pls also tell the deflection of the three radiation emissions in electric and magnetic fields
alpha -positive charge - curls clockwise when going forward in magnetic field pointin up
beta -negative charge - curls anticlockwise when going forward in magnetic field pointin up
gamma - no deflection

who can help me to draw the alpha-emmitter, beata-emmiter nd the gamma-emmiter? those things are so hard. by the way, can you guys show me hw to measure those things????
