Messed up my AS-Maths of CIE, need help

(1/1)

struck:
I prepared in 5 months for 2 A-level and one AS-level subject (part-time with a job), i.e. economics (A-level), business (A-level), mathematics (P1 and S1, AS-level) ..

The results for maths have been pretty disappointing as I didn't practice past papers . While Business is A-grade, Economics is C-grade, Mathematics is E-grade.

I was wondering what grades will I need to score in P3 and S2 to get at least an overall C?

P.S. this is CIE I am talking about.

you will need to get 360/600 across your whole a level maths to get a c

struck:
Doesn't the CIE calculate it all based on grade of individual module? I thought it works like this: (for example)

35 out of 50 in S1 = A grade
24 out of 50 in S2 = B grade
50 out of 75 in P1 = A grade
40 out of 75 in P1 = B grade

Then it would average to B grade.

CIE has 75 + 75 + 50 + 50 marks  ??? ... = 250 marks

astarmathsandphysics:
then you would need another 110 marks in your remaining 2 modules i think

astarmathsandphysics:
actually i am not sure for cie. when i think about grade boundaries i think edexcel which are much simpler
