I thought this could only happen somewhere like Zimbabwe. 20 terrorist police raided a British MPs home and office, locked him up for 12 hours for receiving non classified information from a civil servant.

Suddenly I want to live somewhere else.

Virtually nothing at all, but the British state is paranoid, and the police have got into the habit of shooting people, even if they are not brown or black.

To make matters worse the police who arrested the British politician recorded him without his knowledge for the 2.5 hours between his arrest and arriving at the police station.
