i agree that its partially others faults that they have turned to piracy
but in the end of the day they are bad guys and if we go easy on them because they're poor + we feel sorry for them and that was their last chance of survival its the same as if were cheering them on
and soo many innocent people are victims of their crimes
i mean so what if they were treated badly??! at least they should take it as men and stand up straight and not give in to the temptation of robbing other peoples hard earned work(not in most cases ;D) but still i hope u get the picture!!
i mean as they say 2 bads dont make a good..??! [is that even correct?? :D]

How do we know that these pirates are good or bad? Maybe they are mercenaries and militants oppressing their own people as the situation is in many Central African ,Asian and South American countries. Maybe they are like robin hood, helping their people while stealing from the rich. But holding sailors hostage is not a very good thing to do. After all, the sailors have families too. And they have held sailors of poor countries, like the Philippines. These countries don't have enough money to negotiate the release of their citizens who have been held hostage. It would be more acceptable if they had been targeting the richer and more prosperous countries and they didn't take any hostages. :)

They do target rich countries. Their hostage includes the ship and cargo too.

But they also attack the poorer countries. And they take the sailors hostages as well. They should only target the rich countries.
