What about this idea for avoiding punctures. Make a solid rubber tyre full of air bubbles. It will still be a smooth ride but cannot deflate.

www.google.co.ie for example which would be google in ireland or even www.google.co.us which would be google in the united states or google.co.ca which would be google in canada
