I had this problem - now all my disks are raided - automatic backup. Cant do it on a laptop though.

You have external hdd then storing on that would be better if not.

Copy hard disk partition.

Or you can also repair you OS and backup data.

I am short on time otherwise i would have posted the method to repair os.

copying to external hard disk is never as good as raid which backs up everything automatically

I have Carbonite so if I have everything backed up to it and I restore, everything will be on it right?

Edit: I restored to 9 days ago and the problem is still happening.Edit 2: Could this be a problem with the mouse?
