i wen to the link and saw the drawings (enlarged), i think now that u got wat u deserve, the shirt which u  drew was too plain, if u could have added any abstract paint work in it, that would have got u good grades, the second painting is good, but the mixing of the colors could have been much better, may be this is wat made u get lower marks...

it's Sameer not Samir, anyways, after ma board we'll surely meet, but i kind of feel wierd 2 talk to ppl i hav never met, so for the 1st few times i might be a little awkward but i'll manage, see u soon...

the main point wasnt the tshirt, it was the logo
the logo was actually difficult~ my teacher told me that it should be simple
but i think that they wanted more creative works so i think thats why i didnt do well on that
but if you choose fashion design, like the clothings and stuff, it's more generously marked

the marks was from the average of the two
you have no idea how huge my second painting was, it was like a A2 paper
and just to let you know, igcse is a really basic thing~
i mean it's too basic and not much of any detail
so for art, they just want to see that you've got the potential to draw, to use the colours and how creative you are
it wasnt the way i mixed the colours cuz thats how it's supposed to be
to show a contrast of the object like the shades and stuff, which also makes it look 3D
and exaggerations are good, they want to see that you know how the thing works(eg. where the shades are ie how to make it 3D)
oh i guess i forgot to tell you that i got B for the logo and A for the observational studies

these are the advice i can give you~ i'm doing my As right now and it's really A LOT of working comparing to igcse
i've already started my course work which will be based on faces...
