This is what I got from my search:
The AP test is a test for after an Advanced Placement (AP) class, which is just college credit, it's harder
The SAT is a test that is taken to get into College.

I'll get you more information soon

Then don't even think about AP because AP is the American version of A-Levels which is done in American high schools and not in other Asian countries.

And yes, you can take the SAT II test without taking the SAT I test.

By the way, what are your AS grades???

Feel free to ask any more questions that you have.

'omega007' I haven't given my any of AS subjects. I have computing and general paper as AS. I'm deciding to give AS of these two subject this year of oct/nov. But i'm still confused abt the tests. I'm not pretty confident abt them.

On the other hand, i have physics, math and chemistry as A level. I'll give them in 2010 m/j. But then what abt eco. Since, i want to study Computer Science at higher level in some prestigious univ. Therefore, i want to concentrate on pcm only. Therefore, i don't know whether to give eco as As or A. Otherwise computing and general paper are sure for this year at oct/nov.

So, do you think my planning are good or do i need to make some changes like: giving eco. AS only???

any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

by the way which skool n country r u frm???

choueifat-isn't that a sabis school?

I'm taking APs next year-if you're applying to the UK you do need these to get into college if you are NOT taking A-levels (as they are A-Level equivalents)
However, to get into American universities-you only need you SAT(or ACT if so preferred) and some more selective colleges require some SAT II subject tests, so you should check with the colleges you are applying to.
Hope that helped! :)
Excuse me... have you seen my sanity... I think I lost it. ;)
