i have a quick question would it make a difference if i take as in january and take the certificate of as then take a lvl in june and take a certificate of a level cuz if i done a level straight i will only get the a lvl certificate so would any university care about that?

Get your AS grades. Contact a university. Give then your predicted A2 grades and they'll make you a deal.

yes a* is der for international students as wel
all teachers in our school did get a circular informing dem abt this
but it is onli available for A-levels not AS
so if u r doin as n a2 separately u cannot get a star
some people sleep to dream while othrs wakeup to follow dem im the second type how abt u

can't you get it after they combine your AS and A2 grades?  :-\

I think they go by order of percentage. Like how many % of A*s they want for a particular subject. Well, like L.I.F.E said, contact the British Council of your country as it would be in more detail :)

What I know is, is that you get an A* after your combined result of AS & A2.

There is no A* in AS.

Your A LEVEL (i.e. AS  +  A2 combined) result will  have A*'s (if you deserve them ofcourse).
