November 08 :S ???
its an organic chemistry chapter .... DUDE PAPER 2 IS FLIPPING EASY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just suggested the paper, because it has a question, really similar to the barometer one, where they ask you to fill in the level when the tube is wider.

the highest threshold for p.pr1 was 35...so probably we r all A isa
Take care

Inshallah 35 (or lower), in that case we are all As
By the way; how is an A* obtained?

our teacher did it in class............
i feel like scanning that right now.....
and show it to ya... >:(

1989????????? Who the hell studies that far back!!! :-\
Any ways what was ur teachers answer? Same level or lower?
--- End quote ---
same level.......b
here is MY EXPLANATION......
barometer is used to measur da pressure...and since IT measures using mercury which is a liquid...
u will use the formula p=h x d x g......agreed.......
now pressure in liquids DOES NOT DEPEND ON AREA OR DIAMETER...
IT depend upon HEIGHT and DENSITY.
so wat ever the diameter the pressure will be the same.....
this is the best explanation i can give...
hope u understood well... :)
