hello everyone, i need help in May/june 2005 Question 3, it says the answer is C but i think its wrong
speed =   distance /  time
20=  distance / 10
distance = 200
2 is the slop
200/2
= 100m so i think its right

yeah u r rite...i got it....thanks :)

guys a question plzz help

Why are the electric lamps in a house lighting circuit normally connected in parallel?
A The current in every circuit must be the same.
B The lamps are always switched on and off at the same time.
C The voltage across each lamp must be the mains voltage.
D When one of the lamps blows, all the others go out.

When electricity is transmitted over long distances, energy is wasted. How can the wasted
energy be kept as small as possible?
A Keep the current in the transmission lines as large as possible.
B Keep the power supplied to the transmission lines as large as possible.
C Keep the resistance of the transmission lines as large as possible.
D Keep the voltage supplied to the transmission lines as large as possible.

D. power loss=I2R...so I and R can't be big. It has to be Voltage

ans 6.)  mass of half oil = 1.3 - 0.9 = 0.4
therefore mass of  only full oil in the bottle = 0.4 * 2 = 0.8

therefore mass of only bottle = 1.3 - 0.8 = 0.5

Q.6- okay theoritically say x is the mass of the bottle

then 1.30+x/2=0.90
x=0.50kg

Q.21-waves travel least in shallow water. So check the distance..A is least

Q.27- This is B cuz the steel ball gets attracted to the magnet
