Economics Paper 2 Discussion HERE!

<< < (12/13) > >>

pisecs:
i chose questions 4, 6 and 7
didnt see anyone chosing Q7
it was on the tarrif and quota and trading, i thought it was quite easy

for Q6 c, i couldnt write that much for 10 marks, i mean i didnt know wot to say
i mentioned that ppl might spend less and save more as they would want to protect the real value of their money
i kinda talked about the interest rates as they may be high due to inflation
and ppl with diff incomes may spend and borrow or save differently
ppl with higher incomes have a greater ability to spend and save than the ppl with lower incomes

i wrote about 6-7 lines and then i was totally stuck so i moved on the the next question
i wrote about 7 pages in totally and my hand was soooo sore, lolz

oh yeah, wot did you guys write for wot is inflation, i mean it was like 4 marks
and for previous years it was only 3 marks
and it was 'a sustained (1) rise (1) in the general (1) level of prices'
well, i also included how it can be caused

I chose questions 3, 4 and 6.. the ones about trade unions, business organisations and inflation  :)

hehe I had bio too-like it MUCH more, although I messed up the fermenter question (silly me). Econ was alright, I answered everything so I hope I can keep up my losses to just above an A, then I'll be happy  :D How did you find the inflation one? The last question for 10 marks-ugh-what did you talk about?

I chose the inflation one too! Thinking it would be easy...and then I saw the ten marker =/ I didn't know what to say for ten marks so I just sort of rambled about things that related to inflation and prices and people spending. I'm really hoping they have some flexibility in the mark schemes.

I did the tariff/quota question, haha but yeah the inflation one part c-for 10 marks! Hope I can get more than 6 :)
Basically you can lose 5/6 marks per question on average and still get an A for the paper.
