and i just wanna no hw u people found ur values of mass?????????
--- End quote ---
ur idea maybe correct!!!1
but since it was a 1 mark question!!!!
i halved the mass
as the da speed was halved
--- End quote ---
i did the same thing!
how much can u do for 1 mark anyways?
oh well lets stay positive and the grade threshold WILL be LOW and we all will get A and A*
MR.BooMBastiC:
cuz our teachers didnt took us to the lab since 2 years
we didnt see even a burette or any tiny instrument!!!
so how r we suppose to know!!how micrometer works!!!!
and that ke question was simple math u had to take the fraction of the old one to the new one and without unit ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Because it has a slower speed which means a heavier mass, right?
--- End quote ---
half the speed means half volume of air comes to the turbine, thus, half the original mass..isnt it?
--- End quote ---
I am not actually convinced, it is a slow wind so it will turn the turbines slowly which will generate less electricity thus less power output

thats exactly how it was, less speed, less mass...so 0.5mv2 would have a smaller m, and a smaller v, thus less output..

wat i did was first using the mass of the second air i found its kinetic energy then using that value i found the power output after which i found the fraction.
do u think this was right?
