Functions of lymphatic system include:
1. adds lymphocytes to the blood for defence.
2. Returns excess tissue fluid to the blood as lymph.
3. Filter out bacteria from lymph by means of phagocytosis.
4. absorbs fat into lacteals of villi and discharge them to blood.

i hope that helps but don't ask me how or anything because i don't knw i just memorize.....

In Biology they don't ask alot about the details of the details of the lymphatic system the functions are good though

Fungi are multiceelular organizms which have networks of hyphae called mycellium;they reproduce by production of spores and carries out saprophitic nutrition.
bacteria are unicellular organizms which hv dna and rna with no nucleus the reproduce by binary fission and their nutrition is parasitic or saprotrophic.some may have flagellum
viruses are noncellular organizms which hv dna and their nutrition is parasitic they reproduce inside a living host and hv capsid proteins along with capsumeres....
