Yes jus the milikan's exp. and its 3 importance:

1. It show electricity has an atomic nature: the charge of an electron is like the atom of an electricity.

2. Gives out the value of avogadro's constant.

3. Mass of electron (electronic mass) is determined.

LupeFiasco:
this is for (b) part. For (d), explain the movement of charge through an electric or magnetic field, similar to an ossciloscope..........then by using centripetal force or cent. acc. formula, you get the velocity and acceleration.

LupeFiasco:
want further explanation ? ............what's ur name By the way, or ur nickname i might know u.........they call me don because' it's d last syllable on my name.

eye-candy:
urmm.....hw does milikans exp. giv avagadros constant??

if u know stoke's formula........

1. To displace 1 mole of matter, 96,487 coulumbs (=1 Farad) is required (standard).
2. Then electronic charge or basic charge is (1.6x10^-19).

3. thereby, [96,487 / (1.6x10^-19)] = 6.03x10^23.

P.S electronic charge is found from stoke's formula (not required, u jus gotta know that electronic charge found from exp. is such value) and the displacement of 1 mole requiring 1farad is general stuff. You use the formula:

{ F=L/e }
