2 What will be (needed to produce/produced by the hydrolysis) of the ester
(where the 2 blanks were given)

3 What was the test to show that both lactic acid and acrylic acid contained the COOH group

hydrolysis of an ester the corresponding alcohol n acid is formed

2. i wrote an acid group and an alocohol group (im not sure if thats correct thought...)
3. you could have done bromine water test as well (cz on of them had double bond whilst the other dint..)

guys im starting to think there were different papers!
i dont remember the world hydrolysis in the entire paper
or maybe i was so stressed that i forgot

it sucks to discuss the paper makes u feel how silly mistakes you've made, most because of the limited time
