(1/3) > >>

Nera:
J'ai beaucoup de probleme mais je pense que l'ont peut apprendre ensemble !!!!!!!

pouvez - vous m'expliquer le voix passive . C'est tres difficile

je sais la formation ===> etre( in the tense required) + the participe passe de verb MAIS when do we use it

Can someone please give me an example

j'attends ton reponse avec impatience

Merci en avance

MB:
Allez, ne t'inquiete pas!!
Bon, on continue en anglais ou en francais?

Okay, so for the passive voice, you don't have to use at any specific time, per se. Like in English:
The teacher taught the lesson (active)
The lesson was taught BY the teacher (passive)

Same goes for french, you already know the way to conjugate so it shouldn't be too difficult.

right, for an example:

Les travaux bloquaient la route. (the works blocked the road) active. So, passive in English would be : the road was blocked by the works.
in french:
La route etait bloquee par les travaux.

Always note the tense used in the original.

I hope I've been somewhat coherent. Feel free to ask questions, because I don't think I'd understand much from what I wrote.
I blame it on strange french grammar.

Desole!!
Bonne chance!

archangel:
i thought it was on ete (with accents)

e.g:
les lives on ete achete par David.

mais ce seulment le sujet plural...
je ne sais pas quand le sujet singular =\

aider nous! =)

MB:
It depends on the original tense. If you have it in futur, you reply or restate in futur.

Perhaps that might help? :S

Um, do you mean you thought it was always 'ete', sorry, i don't quite understand.

' Marc a fait l’exercice'  in this case would change to 'L'exercice a ete fait par Marc'
They're both in past tense.

Here, this site should explain it better:

I hope I'm not confusing you more.

Nera:
Merci beaucoup MB
votre exemple est tres clair

I really appreciate your help . but do we have to use the passive voice regularly for paper 4 or just a few ones will be enough ??????????
