yeh i know wat u mean
i also had a head of department as my Urdu teacher she was really old cum on she had grandkids
she was very strict she always knew if sum1 copied or cheated
and if u got bad marks for a test u were in for it

yep, i take first lang english... but i gave my exam quite a few days ago :o ...aren't you doing IGs too?
anyhoo, i just reads lots of novels so that's always a plus. second, i think DrEvil posted up essay formats in the resources section so check those out if you like.
AND ALSO: the one tip that i really wish someone had reminded me but many others might find completely useless would be - you'll have to write a lot. MAKE SURE TO WRITE NEATLY. don't waste too much time on the rough draft and you won't have to rush IA. good luck!
idk if you guys have the same format as our paper but our comprehension was MEGA-EASY so chill for that ;D

how did u already give your exams  ???
im taking first language english, igcse, cie and english paper 2 was last week and english paper 3 is tomorrow

can u tell me the code of your english papers?
eg.maths is 0580

you're very welcome :] ohh no wonder! our school chose to do paper2 and paper1 instead of paper3. we probs had P2 same day as you so it's cool. what IS paper3 anyway? :/ anyhoo, english1123.

the code for our paper is 0500
and paper 3, u hv to right 1 essay (narrative, descriptive, or argumentative) for 25 marks
and the other question can be anything from dialogue writing, speech writing, letter writing, journalistic report or leaflets again for 25 marks
total 50 marks and a 2 hour paper

i think your english papers r different cause in our english paper, p1 is core and p2 and p3 r extended
