sorry boss marksheme is right.
in this case 30ois the angle of refraction.....refractive index of glass is 1.49 i can't explain it but im sure ur smart enough to understand
it's still sini/sinr......just imagine the ray entering from the other side of the block

but they are aksing to find the angle of refraction using the angle of refraction
but y in the markscheme they write that n = sin r / sin i??

if u consider the refractive index of air(i mean nothing like that) but just to explain......the index will be the same but the equation reverses as how we have if the speed of the wave is given in two mediums and the index is given.
like speed of light in air=3x108 and in glass=2x108
refractive index of glass=3x108/2x108
but for light coming out it's 2x108/3x108
i hope u get it...i s at explaining this physics
