yup what ibiz said, or u can make a trapezium and traiangle, find thier areas and add them up..

okk..i have attached it...1c...
u have to draw a tangent to the point (where the dent lies)
this way u get the point on the x-axis near 24
24-20 = 4 --> 4/2 = 2
2*12 = 24m!

lol, i do still needd it, cuz when i get tennessed i loose my abbility to read questions as prperly as i do at home...
