so tht all the ice are at constant temperatur,e if u didnt wait u get wrong results. as ice has the ability to get heat from surrounding so u get different temperature rathere than the temp given by the heater (which is needed)

in short, so the temperature of all ice is constant

u can charge battries, or heat water , any means of storing energy for later when suddenly the consumer needs it
