i just practised those sodium thisosulfate + potassium iodate questions..

am clear with them now.

can any one list out the experimental improvements?

for e.g use a burette/pipette instead of measuring cylinder

-repeat the experiments as average is more accurate

wat else?

any ideas?

i guess we can also tell clean the app. so that there is no impurties which affect the exp.

will it do

@adi toxic - any more improvements (experimental)

these can be some

-use of colourimeter
-use of data logging (instead of timer)
-use of burette/pipette
-repeat and average
-clean the apparatus for no impurities
any more?

@ adi i think its a great idea.....everyone wud be having some doubts....
nd abt d improvements:
u've already mentioned most of them...i can just recall one more...
for heat and temperature exp...use insulation...
will tell ya wen i get smthngelse
@ shreycool...lol...ya i know it was my creation...bt Thanks for improving it though....
By the way it luks more like a request to a wildlife sanctuary dan a reactivity series.....lolzzzz

thats for physics..

insulation for chem..only exo. and endo. reactions..

for e.g

Devise an experiment to show that CaO + H2O is an exo. reaction


here..u add known amount of CaO to known volume of water. record the time and temperature using thermometer.stop the watch when temp. reaches a constant value.

here..the improvememnts can be.

-Use data logging
-Use insulation
