Educational Video Tutorials for GCSE and A Level
« on: June 04, 2013, 03:58:02 pm »
What do people think of this?

For each of your GCSE or A-level subjects we will be providing a playlist of high standard video tutorials, which will teach you every topic you need to learn for your course specification. There will be a playlist for each unit of every subject and each video will be around 10 minutes long. The videos will be recorded by some of the best teachers in the country in the style of Khan Academy (on-screen whiteboard with narration over the top).
You simply enter the details of the exams you are taking and the computer will automatically give you all the video material you need in an easy and organised format.
This will be completely FREE OF CHARGE.

To help make this a reality, we would really appreciate if you would answer the following 3 questions:-

1) How many times would you use the website each week? (on average)
-During holidays
-During term time
-During revision/exam time

2) During each visit, how many videos would you watch? (on average?
-During holidays
-During term time
-During revision/exam time

How many friends would you recommend this service to?

Difficult to answer your questions. One does not know when he will visit a website and what he will do.
For example, if you go to youtube, you don't know how many videos you will watch before finding what you need.
But, It's a good idea. Is your website ready?

I believe educational video tutorials can be a game changer for students preparing for GCSE and A-level exams. When I was studying, I found that short, focused videos made complex topics much easier to grasp. The ability to learn at my own pace and revisit tough concepts was invaluable, especially during revision time. Having access to quality content, similar to Khan Academy, can significantly enhance learning experiences. For those looking for a fun distraction after studying, I would recommend trying out the Italian Brainrot Clicker. It’s a unique way to unwind while keeping your brain engaged.
