As for the switches>>
It is a hardware device that joins multiple computers with one LAN. It identifies data packets as they are recieved determining the source and destination devices and forwarding them appropriately. Thus, it conserves networks bandwidth and has better performance than a hub.

airline booking is not real time processing  thats what my teacher and many other resources say as well like www.teach-ict its batch processing
