Batch Processing
for eg-
In a bank, all the data is collected during the day and is processed at once during the night and the accounts are updated the next morning.
In online processing:
the data is collected and is processed at the same time and the account is updated instantly.
Real time processing I too dunno EHEHEHHEHEHEEHH :D :D :D :D :D :D

Batch Processing - Collecting all the source documents and processing them in a batch.
Examples: Payrolls, Utility bills
On-line Processing - Involves the use of a central system or computer to update the information as soon as it originates.
Examples: Airline booking, cinema and theater booking
Real-time processing - Involves a control system which uses a sensor requiring immediate access
Examples: Hospital patients monitoring, rocket fired into space, burglar systems.

look batch processing is wen data is collected in ""batches"" then processied all in one go when there is no1 working on da computers like in payroll systems
realtime processing is wen small errors arent accepted and may cause a lot of damage like in car manufacturing .. robot arms cannot put the nail in another place as a slight delay will ruin da car shape
online processing is wen there is a slight delay while da data entered is being prcessed like in cinema booking systems....there might b a slight delay as da order would b checked wid other ""booking windows"" to ensure that a seat isnt booked twice
