i thought there was some mistake in the "show clearly that the sum is (n+1) squared :S
and for the precentage of the sphere, i got 502%!!!

For the percentage of the sphere i got 4 hundred something. And the nth term is easy. You have to prove that the nth TERM plus the nth+1 TERM = n(NOT TERM)^2. So the 2nd term was 3 and the 3rd term was 6 so   3+6=(2+1)^2
