doubts/tips/questions/resources for ESL p4 HERE only!

hey guyz i need a little help from all of you!!
will you help me!!
ok can anyone give me few tips for listening exam....that how should i prepare for it????? and how are you preparing for it??? do give some suggestion. i will be waiting :)

if u have a radio, switch it on, go to FM 100.1 and listen to the BBC world service, it will either be news or a program, listen to the news/program and write them down, then go to their website and compare ur notes to the real ones, the more close, the better  ;)

thanx for your suggestion i will try to do the same....but listening to news is rather boring how about listening to the music ;) what do you think and its also a nice excuse to make  ;)

so u want to listen to some music and write down the lyrics, thats hard man, especially if ur listening to hard metal  :P

you are right listening to music and writting the lyrics is rather hard... so i have a site which will help all the IG students http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/ i hope so.... do tell me when to visit this site. ok

no i didnt mean that site, i meant the normal news site news.bbc.co.uk

and news are up every hour i think  :-\

so for e.g.

the first news report is, barac obama visits Iraq for political reasons, due to ...

u write that down, then go to the news site and compare ur notes

So anyone visited that site which i mentioned before..... because i wanna know is it good for parcticing does it really improve our listening so plzz do reply.

there is another way you guyz can practice your listening if you know any native english speaker then you can ask him to read the script that comes with the past papers and solve the excercise :)
Well i dont know anyone so this will not work for me :(
