Biology AS paper 7. Please help

Good day, I was solving my Bio AS pastpapers, and I came across these questions. In paper 7(or 3B, whatever you call it), there are questions which have graphs shown and they ask you which line(s) you would insert them in. Now, I chose the lines I thought most suited, but the mark scheme said my answer was wrong. How do you actually approach these questions?

Just use common sense in answering these questions.
Search for clues in the marking schemes about why ur answer got wrong.
Refer to the examiner's reports as well because u will get a good idea of the type of responses expected for these questions. Those examiner reports are really very helpful.

Sorry for not being of much help but when I was preparing for this paper I did not do much preparation for the 2nd question.
