Salaam,
According to the Edexcel GCE Mathematics specification:
Students are expected to have available a calculator with at least the following keys: +, ?, ×, ÷, ?, x2, ?x, 1x, xy, ln x, ex, x!, sine, cosine and tangent and their inverses in degrees and decimals of a degree, and in radians; memory. Calculators with a facility for symbolic algebra, differentiation and/or integration are not permitted.
This applies to all units for Edexcel GCE Math except the C1 unit exam.
Can someone clarify for me if we really need a calculator with memory (emboldened above) or is it me who is misunderstanding?
I know this is not a big issue but i just want to confirm. Many people around here must have done the various Edexcel GCE Math modules so i hope someone can confirm this for me.
Thanks in advance.
