am i right?

examfreak, you have to divide by 2 for the radius, as that is the diameter, radius is halve the diameter

u still have to take into account the magnification thing. cause u won't be able to get as much stomata with only x40. imagine in one football field u found 22 players at fixed position, if we focus only at the penalty box of one side, u might be able to find one goalkeeper and a few defenders or maybe opponent striker.

ok..this is what i did... sumone tell me if its rong or correct
0.3/2=0.15mm
den 3.142* (0.15)'2 = 0.0706mm2 ..........this is the MAGNIFIED value
den the magnification was x40 so.... mag = magnified/ actual .....so actual= magnified/magnification
= 0.0762/40
=0.00177mm2 (this is ans to the first one)
den....no of stomatas when its magnified x100 was 28
so what wudit b if its per mm2??
i found the area of the field view after its magnified x100 by .... 100*0.00177=0.177
therfore 28 stomatas in 0.177mm'2 so how many stomatas in 1 mm'2??
0.177/28= 158.... the calculator when u use larget no of significant figures gives 159.0 ..(summin)
did anyone else do this?? and is it correct??
