Right, So for the discursive essay part, I was wondering if ,assuming I'd chosen to write a discursive essay, would be allowed to convey my own opinion, right at the end, as by stated by the english AS language and literature textbook.
I'm asking this because Ive been told never to give your own opinion when doing a discursive piece, as that is reserved only for argumentative writing. Very confusing lol, also the fact that I never went to any of my english classes dosent help. Also, I did an essay today, a discursive one, and I found that I could only reach 500 words without going on and on randomly about useless points, will I be penalised for that?
