This is all too hard. Who knew applying to uni would be such a hassle? I dunno' how I'm going to convince dad now. He'll never believe I can get triple As from this point.
*sigh* Maybe I should just give up. Crawl into a hole and die :'(

OMG. You are giving up just with the application process? Seriously ?
This can't be it. Don't lose hope, hon.
Work your butts off for those As. Hardwork always pays off.
Aren't you determined and passionate about becoming a doc ?
NEVER GIVE UP!

We'll help in anything you need but please assure yourself if this is really want you want!

To be honest, I never wanted this. I never wanted to do Medicine & I don't want to be a doctor.
My parents chose this line for me & now I'm stuck with it. Moreover, it's too late to just waltz up to them & say, "Hey, dad... I don't wanna be a doc! ;D" Besides, they're my parents & they want what's best for me... I have to respect them & listen, right?
But this is so hard. I study more than anyone in my entire school — that's a fact! — & I really did try for AS Levels. Of course I'll try harder for the upcoming A Levels now... but... I just can't help but feel this trace of unhappiness at the bottom of my heart. The only thing I can do now is ask for Allah's help and guidance — He, who can make the impossible, possible... and the possible, impossible.

Wrong! ::)
'Doctor-y' aint something that can be forced on to you. Any major, any at all requires passion and interest only then you can pursue your dreams wholeheartedly and achieve the best. If dont want want it, then forget it.
There is a difference between 'respect' and 'shut-up-and-do-what-you-are-asked-to-do.'
Medicine means barely sleep, learn, research, and... wear the darn scrubs!' Application process is only the beginning of it all.

I dont know if you have found the answer yet.
Well I am also applying to UK, specifically london.
You are applying through UCAS, right?
If you want to start uni in 2012 then you apply in 2011, mostly the deadline is 15 october.
If you are planning to start uni in 2013 than apply in 2012.
Basically you apply after finishing your AS and right after you start A2 in sept.
Anymore questions, I am here to help :D

I'm interested in applying to the UK for universities. Parents want me to do Medicine, so I'll most likely be taking the MBBS/MBChB degree. The question is: when do I apply?
My A Levels are next year in May/June, so if I apply after they're over, am I applying for the 2012 Sept. or the 2013 Sept. semester? Or do I have to apply now (in 2011) for next year? It's really complicated and I'm not sure how to explain... I just hope someone gets me. I'd hate to think I'm applying for the next year, because I'm already a year behind than I should be.
Please help out. Much appreciated. Thanks in advance ;D

You don't have to wait for your A levels to be finished... While completing the UCAS Application, you need to enter "Pending" for the subjects which you plan to appear in June 2011. Then apply with a predicted grade from your Referee.
If the university accepts you, they will offer you with say, A* in Biology, A in Maths etc. Offer will be made usually within 3 months of application (varies). After you get your results in 2012 August, your offer will be validated if you meet their criteria
