Resitting rules :S

Hello everyone,
So i got my a level grades, and some of them were not good :S, I want to resit my A2 exams, is it possible to only resit A2? My AS grades were good (All A's), I gave the AS exams in May/June 2010, also for one of my subjects (for A2), it says no result, what can be the reason for this? I want to repeat in oct/nov 2011.

Hmmm, what did you get ? Did you apply to uni ? Does it fall below the minimum required grade ?

Perhaps you messed up in yer A2 papers.

I applied to few unis in pakistan, and few abroad in UAE, Kuwait, singapore etc. I got accepted to all the ones I applied to. The problem is that I ***KNOW*** that I can get A*s in all my subjects. I barely make any mistakes in pastpapers and stuff :S. My AS papers were good, I know because I got distinctions in a few of them. so can you resit only A2 papers?? (I might resit them along with uni). more specifically I want to repeat
i) Math -> Paper 3, Paper 4,
ii) Physics --> Paper 4, Paper 5

Yes, you can resit A2 papers only. You can resit any paper you want.
Wait, If you are accepted to the uni then why do you want to repeat?

Why do you wanna resit if you got accepted by the unis?

No problem. (:

Yes, you can resit A2 papers only. You can resit any paper you want.
Wait, If you are accepted to the uni then why do you want to repeat? 

In CIE, he cannot resit any particular paper he wants. He has to the whole level again - repeat whole A2 (all papers).

u can do them again but it's pointless if u ask me

also think of it as a waste of time as uni starts in September so no point of doing A-levels again in november
