Actually in Edexcel, if we give our exams outside the UK, we do not do the practical exam which involves carrying out an experiment or doing something practically but instead we have to sit for a 'written alternative to practical paper' which, as its title suggests, is the alternative to the practical paper which is a written exam paper.

We get practical-related questions in these written prac exam papers so do u think these lab experiments will, in any way, be helpful to the students taking the wrtten prac paper by Edexcel?

They will give you the idea on how the experiments are carried out.

I do think, they'll help in some way or the other. Not with the 'writing' part, though.

For Edexcel, most important thing is to be very clear on the patterns of how the questions are asked.

Fer practicals, you will have a list of topics which will be coming up in the paper. Fer each specific topic you can check the lab simulation stuff. (:
