Newbie here (just finished igcses)
why is there 2 subject codes for chemistry? e.g. 2009 june there's 6241/01 and 6CH01/01 - I realise for 6241 it says unit test - is it just a test :S ??

it may be the variants of the same subject

6241 code is for the Old specification Chemistry by Edexcel board exam.
6CH01 is the New specification Chemistry code by Edexcel board exam.
The syllabus content was changed after 2008, so I assume so did the subject code.
Hope that's cleared. :D
