can sum1 please do and explain q 5 and 6 in paper 6 CIE math, in november 02...

\you have to draw the tee diagram
if you did it properly than answer would come for sure

----------
0.6 * 0.3 + 0.4*0.6

0.429

b)
P(wins two games and loses one out of first three)
(.6)(0.7)(0.3)+(0.6)(0.3)(0.4)+(0.4)(0.4)(0.7)
=0.31

Question 6
part 1)
P(chocolate biscuit)=q=1/4
P(cream biscuit)=p=3/4

n=10
10C5(3/4)^5(1/4)^5=0.0584

2)
n=8
p=0.0584
q=0.9416
P(x=1)=8C1(0.0584)(0.9416)^7
=0.307

part 3) apply continuity correction
and use normal distribution
you can do this i am sure
